Liya Safina

Liya is an award-winning designer, investor and board advisor with over 12 years of experience navigating the intersection of frontier technology (AI, XR, robotics) and global market adoption.
She is currently working with Google on their newly announced spatial computing platform, including XR apps like Google Maps, YouTube, Photos and Google TV. Her track record of leadership spans high-growth sectors, including AI-integrated mobility and robotics (Toyota’s Woven City), blockchain (Coinbase), and global e-commerce (Alibaba, Nike). She has served as a strategic advisor and designer to a vast portfolio including Bottega Veneta, Olelo AI, ASICS, as well as cultural icons like Pharrell Williams and Björk.

Liya is Guest Lecturer for AI Strategy for Design Leaders.
