
Chris has been in the entertainment industry for 30 years, holds 13 HCI patents, and has shipped more than 20 games. He was an instrumental executive at Xbox, where he worked for almost 20 years—primarily as the leader of Xbox’s end-to-end experience and innovation as Head of Xbox Research & Design. He now advises other executives through Unexpected By Design. Believing that gaming is a fast-moving space where passionate fans deserve quality, innovation, and delight, he is committed to delivering just that. He sees the processes, values, and insights once specific to gaming becoming increasingly valuable—and disruptive—outside of it.
